OOTD: Casual Summer Lunch

"Labels are for filing. Labels are for clothing. Labels are not for people."
- Martina Navratilova -

From freezing in June, I have finally arrived at the summer part of June :) Actually planned on wearing a skirt but I had one of these days where none of my dresses or skirts did it for me - if you know what I mean -
It's friday, my brother and I spent some quality time food shopping and eating out for lunch and this is the look I went for. Pretty casual if you ask me. The canvas bag I bought back when my bro and I visited our family in the philippines and it has become my go to bag when food shopping or running errands because I can just throw anything and everything in there - wallet, keys, phone - which I would usually just carry in my hand when running quickly out of the house.
Other than that, I just threw on one of my dad's old military t-shirts that was lying around in my closet, a pair of jeans and heels to girl up the look and stretch my legs a little.
Makeup wise, I kept it very simple and more than just basic. Once again, time was of the essence to all I used were an eyebrow pencil, mascara and a little blush

My plan was to wear my hair curled these days but once again, when it comes to "should I get up and curl my hair or use those 5 min to sleep" this morning sleep definitely won over curled hair.
To mention my awkwardness in my outfit pictures...well, today I just have one of these days where no matter where I am or what I am doing I kinda feel misplaced and a little off-minded. No particular reason why.

So, keeping this short and fresh. I will get some work done and hopefully get to jump into my bikini and get some sun in my garden. If not, tomorrow is another day to do so.

So this is what I am wearing:

T-shirt - My dad
Jeans -
Bag - Tourist shop Davao (philippines)
Shoes - Deichmann
Nails - Essence
Bracelet - Random shop
Necklace - Boutique in Manila
Sunglasses - H&M

OOTE: BLURRED LINES

"IT'S NOT THE YEARS IN YOUR LIFE THAT COUNT, ITS THE LIFE IN YOUR YEARS!"
                                      ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Hello Dear readers,

I know how it is to be stuck in a Tuesday ,when outside the sun is rising, so I feel YOU if you in work.
I am happy to be back at writing for you, though. Is been really busy for the couple of weeks. And how the sun decided to show his soft side most of time, I tended to be more outdoors. This weekend I took part of a very dear to my heart event. So I decided to ware my very special  red dress. I got this dress a while ago and I thought the pictures will suit an OUTFIT OF THE EVENING. Let me know your opinions about the dress I am wearing.

Its really comfy because and its long and not that tight also. The BIG plus is RED which we all know its a colour will never go out of fashion. The Shoes I am wearing I just purchased them recently there were fair cheap shoes (12pounds,PRIMARK). I consider to be ok sometimes, to buy things they are affordable but match with the outfit.
The location as you can tell from the pictures was amazing. We went a Golf CLub in Manchester. My friend hold here a special Surprise Birthday Party for her Boyfriend.A lot of people show up and as you can imagine the surprise for him was enormous and well appreciated.
The Location even if it might look out in the country-side is quite close to town.  The very nature with its numerous tone of green  and under the late sunset light, looked fabulous almost as in fairy-tale.
Accessories that I was wearing were: Ray-Ban Sunglasses and Fossil Watch :)

Hope you well and I am waiting for your feed-back guys.

Love Abby xoxoxo

OOTD: Freezing In June

"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss,
you'll land among the stars."
- Les Brown -

Hey lovers, would you still consider this an OOTD ( as in of the day) if I wore this actually the previous weekend? Well, I guess you could. As I mentioned in our Instagram Post, I will have to pre write some posts for the next weeks as exams and stuff are taking up too much of my time.

As I write this post the sun is actually shining wonderfully, but over the weekend I was bitterly freezing. This was my outfit for Saturday, where I went for a walk along the Rhine to a cafe and dinner. Somehow I woke up that morning feeling to mix and match patterns and colours, which isn't really me. Scratch that Not At All Me. Yet, I gave it a try. I did not last a long time though and changed back into something more All Black.

I do like the look though, maybe without the clutch? Anyhow, after always seeing other bloggers in such wonderful colour combination I decided to slowly get into some more colour this summer. Emphasizes on slowly.
l
Oh, and yeah I did curl my hair. Since its short, I have not done much with it except the occasional pony tail whereas I thought I would do so much more with it since it wont take long to style. Now, I have become obsessed with wearing them curled. Due to the fact, that using heat on your hair is damaging, I wanna try some heat-free ways to easily curl short hair.
So, stay tuned to see what I have come up with.

So this is what I was wearing:

Jacket - Massimo Dutti
Top - Republic
Leggings - (my go to pair) Zara
Necklace - Boutique in Manila
Ring - Dorothy Perkins
Clutch - Handmade from a market in Manila

Pretty much pulled some clothes out of my closet that I had for a while to see what I will keep after this summer and what pieces are ready to go to charity.

Alright then, have a great weekend lovers.

REVIEW: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE - OPI

PRODUCT REVIEW-

O*P*I  OZ THE GREAT&POWERFUL

Hey girls! How you been? I know the summer is here and I am so excited about everything that summer brings: Holiday, beach and floaty clothes. I dont know about you but the sun makes me smile. makes me happy. And summer is my favourite season.
Knowing that. What's one thing that we all must have this summer? Some may say perfume some may think it's shorts. I am telling you...nice nails, manicure and toes. Can change so much the way your whole outfit will look. And of course you need to smell good at all times. So make sure you have a bottle with perfume with you all the time.

I choose this Summer the O.P.I Oz collection I think it's a nice mix of bright white, pale colours with the need it amount of sheer and sparkles. You will see the design I choose for my hand which it's really soft and elegant trend.
I know a lot of you prefer to do their nails at a salon but my problem is that I feel my nails become weaker if I apply the gel and excessive other products.
I love bright colour. So I choose to wear the 'Dont busy my bubble colour' which is a pale white-pink colour. I have to confess that I am in love with it. The quality of the nail vanish is amazing as well. It got dry really quick and was really easy to apply. I just love this product.
The next one 'when monkeys fly' is another amazing texture of the set. And I am simply bananas for the gold confetti. Great touch for personalising your nails. U can choose to wear as much glitter as you want. And I am telling you I love the fact that you can play with this and choose what accent to give to your nail.

For the other 2 colours. That I choose to wear just for this picture. The lighter colour called 'Glitz of Glinda' a perfect beige colour that looks perfect on a French manicure for my opinion. Just as the other one. Great texture and gives a shiny look to the nail.

In terms of 'wizardry is this'. I don't think words can explain it. It's a texture mate sheen finish. And the glittery effect  Makes it so attractive. I can't wait to wear it all over my nails.

1. 'Dont burst my bubble'
2. 'Glints of Glinda'
3. 'When monkey fly'
4. 'What Wizardry is this?'

Hope you enjoyed this review! Stay tanned.
Love Abby xoxo

PERSONAL : Instagram Round Up May

What's up fashion lovers, I truly envy those bloggers that juggle with jobs and studies or any other multiple life chores and manage to keep the blog updated on a regular basis. B and I have been terrible busy these past weeks that it was rather impossible to get good content up on the blog.
Traditionally, I have to complain at least once about the weather in my blog, which I assumed I would not have to continue on doing in May but the weather god has decided to let me wear sweaters, jackets and umbrellas some more this year.
Summer, my love, where are thou?
I have the camera on charge and tomorrow I will get down to real business and get some outfit pictures done, be it sunny or not. I mean there is still photoshop to fix the fixable.
Other than that, there has not been anything interesting that happened to me these past weeks that is in any shape or form of use to share with you. Got some more exams coming up, so I will use the days in between to get as many posts in draft as I can for the "study sessions" of my week.

If you haven't followed us on instagram or do not have an instagram account, here a round up of our photos this month.

Hope you all are well. I can't wait to get the time and catch up on reading all the posts I have been missing out on the past weeks. This sounds like a sunday in bed with tea, scones and lots of blog posts reading. :) weekend here I come.
